I started work on a new artwork this morning. Not a lot has been done, yet. But a lot has been done, really. Because I had a lot of “mental” issues to get out of the way, to get myself to this place of actually starting work again. I am not going into any of that.
So, I have a wooden panel cut out, at this point. And I have primer ready. I wasn’t even sure if I had any, but I have enough for quite a few of these panels.
I am comfortable with the size and shape of these panels. Small and long. Been wanting to go this way for a while.
So, I’ll be priming the panel later today, and probably painting it tomorrow. I could start today, but that would require gathering up things that aren’t quite all together now, and I don’t feel like getting stressed out about it. I have too much baggage of decades. I’ll just keep it on the down low, and get a little done here and there, and before you know it, I have a really good feeling about things.
There will likely be a few of these panels painted. Since I really do like to work with a “series” and not just a piece at a time, like I did many years ago.
Exciting a little bit…
